Kate Danielson received her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus on ages birth to five from the University of Oregon in 1996. For the past ten years she has worked with children and their parents in various capacities including:

• preschool teacher
• birth to three home-based parent educator
• special education assessment coordinator for a local school district
• preschool inclusion specialist
• parent advocate at special education meetings.

According to Kate, her most profound learning began with the birth of her daughters, ages 5 and 3. The beginning of motherhood was an intense time of transformation and discovery for Kate. She feels strongly that all new mothers require support, community, and outlets to grow outside of the parenting experience.
